Wheelabrator Group Introduces RSS Feeds for NEWS and DOWNLOADS
Wheelabratorgroup.com has always had one of the most robust web sites in the surface preparation industry. The site currently boasts over 6600 pages of content that is customized for any of the three regions and four languages. Any site as large as the Wheelabrator Group web site has the challenge of providing information to the visitor as quickly as possible based on the visitor’s specific situation. To help get the latest information into the hands of Wheelabrator Group web visitors efficiently, Wheelabrator Group has employed RSS feeds to its web site for both “Downloads” and “News”. Visitors will now be able to get the latest “News” and “Download” updates delivered directly to the visitor’s RSS reader or web browser. Instead of having to go to www.wheelabratorgroup.com to see if there are any updates to the “News” or “Downloads”, visitors can simply scan their RSS reader for changes.
Both the “News” RSS feed, the “Download” RSS feed have the added capability of allowing visitors to further refine what type of information they will receive allowing visitors to select by either brand name(s) or technology(ies) or both. In addition to the enhanced RSS filtering capabilities, the MORE NEWS and MORE DOWNLOADS areas have been further refined to make searching for pertinent information easier on the web site itself. To this end, all of the NEWS and DOWNLOAD items have been broken down by type. Web visitors looking at the news area can search by date or look at one of the predefined categories of NEWS items (i.e. “Success Stories”). Similarly, visitors looking at the DOWNLOADS page can now look at just all the videos that have been uploaded, quickly scan all of the datasheets, or access one of the other 5 download types.
